Shopify Point of Sale (POS) App Reviews

I keep getting a read message that says "must be connected to the Internet" when I try signing in. Im Wi-Fi connected. I will ask your tech support when I call them.

The app will not let me log in on my phone. It gives me an error saying Internet required, even though Im on a strong wifi signal. Please fix.

Excellent app, highly recommend! FYI - you have to add the "-" when you enter your shop name during log in, if you have any spaces in your business name. Ex. My-Store-Name

Custom pricing and discounts are working really well.

There is no way to delete an item out of the cart.

Love love love! I wish I had the option to issue and accept Gift Cards via the app. I also wish I could text customers their receipts via the app. Other than that, it is perfect!

Shopify shows a complete lack of respect for the people who get their hands dirty for the boss. Tipping is not a feature available, which results in a huge loss of funds for hard-working people under Shopify. They added a "ship through Shopify" feature before considering tips. Just infuriating. Please add tipping!

Features broken: -Tap and hold for product information doesn’t work well. (Usually item will be added to cart accidentally.) -Product information does not properly render HTML (i.e. if there’s a table of information on the product page) Features needed: -Store credits that actually work. (Current process is insane.) -Ability customize “quick keys” as default homepage. -Ability to search by customer name -Ability to return item purchased through Shopify online -Ability to integrate real-time carrier rates and shipping labels into the POS.

Would like the ability to "text" receipt as well as retrieve emails based on credit card swipes instead of entering it in every time

Not sure why this app doesnt just mirror the iPad version. Cant enter or look up customer names. Cant offer shipping for online purchases. Its completely useless for our store. I would think it be less work to just make a duplicate app of the iPad Shopify POS but for iPhone. Deleting until the change is made.

Great app but some important details are missing. Only drawback is there is no way to see product price or description. Other than that great companion app in addition to our website
